Join My Comic Creation Journey: Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Gravy McFaddon, a father, storyteller, and aspiring comic book creator.

Like many, Marvel movies were my escape during those early days of parenthood. One movie, in particular—Thor: Ragnarok—left me with a burning question: Could I do that? Could I build a world like that?

That question sparked this journey. Since then, I’ve been working to turn that idea into reality—writing a story based around a dystopian future. Unfortunately, I’m doing exactly what they say you shouldn’t.

I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.

I don’t have traditional artistic skills, so I’ve turned to tools like Blender and Photoshop to help bring this vision to life. It’s a bit of a chaotic process, but it’s mine. And if you want to watch a stubborn, middle-aged man fail, learn, and (hopefully) succeed, you’ve found the right place.

I’m here to show the messy journey of comic creation. No promises of perfection—just one dad trying to build a world, one panel at a time.
